Partner portal migration is underway
Following the success of our initial launch, we are continuing to migrate configurations to the Partner Portal Production (P3) environment. Starting mid-April, we will begin migrating configurations that have identified Production Team Administrator(s) and have production teams set up in the P3 environment. If you would like to be included in the next phase, contact your partners@login.gov.
To prepare for migration, please ensure all logos in your configurations are under 50KB; larger files may fail to migrate.
Post-migration, Production Team Administrators will receive an email with instructions for configuration changes and a request to validate the migrated production configurations. After the migration, all changes to production configurations must be made directly within the P3 environment, not in the sandbox. Production configurations will be disabled in the sandbox, and a message will redirect users to the P3 environment.
Contact partners@login.gov with any questions.
REMINDER: Switch to the 2026 Login.gov SAML certificates and endpoints by April 1, 2026
This is a reminder that partners with SAML integrations must transition to the 2026 SAML endpoints before April 1, 2026, for both our sandbox and production environments. Check out the updated Login.gov SAML developer guide with 2026 endpoints. This does not apply to applications that use OpenID Connect (OIDC), and no action is required for OIDC integrations.
As a reminder, all apps (both SAML and OIDC) also have public certificates that you upload to the Partner Portal. These certificates have their own separate expiration dates that you set. When rotating those certificates, please make sure to follow the guidance in our developer guide, including providing us a 2 week notice prior to switching to ensure no downtime for your app. Contact partners@login.gov if you have any questions.
New user resource: IRS launches new web page to streamline fraud and scam reporting
Recently, our partners at the IRS unveiled a new centralized resource that makes it easier for taxpayers to confidentially report suspected tax fraud, scams, evasion, or other tax-related illegal activities. Learn more at irs.gov.
If you have a helpful digital identity or anti-fraud resource you’d like us to share with Login.gov partner agencies, let us know at partners@login.gov.
